Poland (Part 3)

June 2, 2013 6:15 PM—Warsaw

This morning we took the train from Krakow to Warsaw. After we got here and left our things at the hostel we wandered for a while because we were too early to check in. First we walked all the way down to the river and we were less than impressed. If we had stopped here I would have been really disappointed with Warsaw. However, we continued down the river until we came upon a couple of the big squares in the historic part of town. This is where we were able to see the Royal Castle as well as many really nice churches. After we wandered around for a couple hours we walked back to our hostel, where we called it a day.

We have to get up really early tomorrow to take the train before 6 AM tomorrow morning, so we can get to Berlin. From there we are traveling to Hamburg, where we will spend the day before going all the way up to the northern coast of Germany to get the ferry to Sweden tomorrow night.
